Nobility crown PierregourdeLe plus ancien document que nous trouvions sur cette maison est un terrier des rentes dues au seigneur de Pierregourde, 1217. En novembre 1237 Hugues I rendit hommage à Philippa de Fay, dame de La Voulte, femme d'Aymar I de Poitiers, comte de Valentinois. En 1325, le 20 novembre, Hugon IV, seigneur de Pierregourde, fils à Giraud, rendit hommage à Bermond d'Anduze. Il avait épousé Diane de La Marette qui lui avait apporté les biens de sa maison. Plusieurs de leurs descendants relevèrent ce nom et sont connus sous le nom de La Marette. Cette famille s'éteignit dans les Barjac par le mariage de François de Barjac, qualifié en 1572, seigneur de Pierregourde, avec Claudine de La Marette, dame de Pierregourde, fille d'Alexandre, qui avait hérité, avant 1572, des biens et du nom de sa maison, tombé en quenouille par le décès de Louis, son frère. C'est ce François dit de Pierregourde, qui commanda pour les protestants dans le Haut-Vivarais de 1572 à 1575. ...
