Nobility crown PietromonacoAncient and noble Italian House, of clear and ancestral virtue, born from the union of two noble families, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. The first, which is the Pietro family, is native from Liguria and, more precisely from the city of Savona. Many of its members distinguished themselves in the town community: Buongiovanni, Vassallo and Castelletto were among the Genoese citizens who swore peace with Pisa in 1188; Ogerio in 1380 and Bartholomew in 1391 were councillors of the Republic; Gaspare was ambassador to the Duke of Milan in 1488, governor of Corsica in 1489, Elder in 1493 and in 1525. The second, which is the Monaco family, is native from Friuli and has had residence in the city of Udine and Spilimbergo.
