La casa solar de este linaje estaba sita en la Puebla de San Miguel, villa que pertenece al partido judicial de Chelva, en la provincia de Valencia. A pesar de que entonces era aquella villa lugar de Behetría sin distinción de estado, fue siempre reputada esta familia por noble, con ascendientes que ayudaron a don Jaime I de Aragón en la conquista del reino de Valencia, solar conocido, bienes vinculados, patronatos de capilla y beneficios, asiento preeeminente en la iglesia parroquial y sepultura y capilla propia en el mismo templo. Eran, además, sus individuos patronos de la ermita de Nuestra Señora de la Concepción, erigida fuera de la citada villa a expensas de esta familia. Sus ramas se avecindaron después en las villas de Arcos y de Alpuente, partido judicial de Chelva, gozando de los mismos privilegios, distinciones y prerrogativas que en la Puebla de San Miguel.
