Herkunft des Familiennamens Pruyssenaere (de) De La Woestyne, Herkunftsland: Belgium

Adelsstand: Nobles
Heraldik die Familie: Pruyssenaere (de) De La Woestyne
Krone des Adels Pruyssenaere (de) De La Woestyne Ancient and very noble family of Bruges, capital of the Belgian province of West Flanders, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. The clear nobility of the house is confirmed by the presence of its blazon in the valuable work of JB Rietstap (12 May 1828–24 December 1891), a Dutch heraldist and genealogist, "The Armorial General", a monumental work that contains the blazons of the coats of arms of more than 130,000 European families. According to what is reported by heraldic texts, this illustrious family received the title of noble with letters patent of October... Fortsetzung folgt17, 1755. Henri, magistrate of France, died in Bruges, October 24, 1704, married the noble lady Marie De Vooght, who died December 24, 1711, and they had: 1) Marie, born in Bruges, June 14, 1658, 2) Jacque, born in Bruges, March 7, 1660, 3) Jeanne, born in Bruges, August 16, 1661, 4) Henri-Francois, who will be mentioned later, 5) Marie, born in Bruges, December 25, 1665, 6) Helene, born in Bruges on 6 March 1667. Henri-Francois, born in Bruges on August 8, 1663 and died in February 1723, lord of la Woestyne, married Petronille Van Meunichxhove, and they had Henri, esquire, lord of la Woestyne and Receiver General, who was recognized noble (October 17, 1744) and who was authorized to use the coat of arms, on November 14 of the same year. He married Marie-Constance Penneman, and they had: 1) Marie-Therese, 2) Anne-Marie-Louise, 3) Charles-Henri. From the analysis of colors of the coat of arms we can have some information on the family virtues. The argent, in fact, symbolizes purity, tenderness, temperance, mercy, kindness, the desire to win and the talent of eloquence. The stag (or deer) is a symbol of peace and harmony, of one who will not fight unless provoked. Family names so old, without any doubt, honor not only families but also the cities that welcomed them; seems to be, in fact, very worthy the living members of this family which, with much decorum, carry this noble surname, which has had several illustrious members.
