Nobility crown RamFamiglia di Saragozza che si trasferì a Cagliari alla fine del secolo XV con un Giovanni che ebbe l'ufficio ereditario di salinerie, minore. I suoi figli, dottor Gerolamo, correggente della cancelleria reale, e dottor Francesco, avvocato fiscale, furono ammessi allo stamento militare nel 1504. Da allora i Ram presero parte agli altri parlamenti fin al 1583. Giovanni, figlio del dottor Francesco, nel 1528 ebbe l'ufficio di maestro razionale che, alla sua morte, nel 1545 passò a suo figlio Salvatore e da lui a Francesco, suo fratello. Questo Francesco nel 1562 ebbe il riconoscimento della nobiltà; la famiglia in quegli anni fu coinvolta nelle fazioni dell'aristocrazia cagliaritana ed avversò grandemente gli Aymerich. Nella seconda metà del secolo le sue condizioni decaddero; si divise in due rami: il ramo cagliaritano che si estinse agli inizi del secolo XVII alla morte di un Onofrio, e l'altro ramo, che si stabilì ad Iglesias dove ...
