Nobility crown RiescoLinaje de antiguos hidalgos leoneses. Una de sus líneas moró en el lugar de Cueto, del Ayuntamiento de Saucedo y partido judicial de Villafranca del Bierzo (León). De ella era descendiente en fines del siglo XV Rodrigo R., marido de doña Aldonza R., y ambos padres de Pedro R., que en su mujer, doña Teresa Alfonso, tuvo estos hijos: Juan, Pedro, y Luis R. Alfonso, que el 4 de Enero de 1555 ganaron ejecutoria de hidalguía en la Real Chancillería de Valladolid. Otra línea residió en la villa de Valderas, del partido judicial de Valencia de Don Juan (León), y de ella procede la dilatada famiia de este apellido, radicada en Chile, de reconocidas ideas realista, que cuenta entre sus ascendientes con Oidores de aquella Real Audiencia y varios altos funcionarios de la Colonia. Fué su progenitor Manuel R. de la Vega, natural de la villa de Valderas, que llegó a Chile en 1780. Allí contrajo primeras nupcias con doña María Antonia de la Puente y Urra; segundas, con doña María del Pilar Medina, y terceras nupcias con doña Mercedes Droguett. Del primer matrimonio nacieron: Miguel R. de la Puente, María del Carmen R. de la Puente y Rafaela R. de la Puente. Del segundo matrimonio fueron hijos Manuel Hipólito R. y Medina, José María R. y Medina, Pedro Nolasco R. Medina, Dominga R. y Medina, María del Tránsito, Mercedes, Mariana, Francisco Javier R. y Medina, y Juan Ramón R. y Medina. Del tercer matrimonio nacieron Juan Miguel R. y Droguett, Julián R. y Droguett, y Agustín R. y Droguett. ...
