Sul finire del secolo XVI, la famiglia ebbe ingresso nel Consiglio nobile di Vicenza, ma la nobiltà in quell'epoca era più che centenaria, poichè per essere ammessi al Collegio dei giuristi faceva duopo dimostrare il possesso di vera e reale nobiltà di cento anni. Prospero di Francesco era uno dei componenti il Consiglio nel 1580.
