Antigua y noble familia originaria de Cataluña. Son sus armas: En campo de oro, tres billetes de gules, cargado cada uno de una pera de plata con el tallo hacia arriba. Algunos pintaron de sable los billetes. Otros usaron: De gules, con tres peras de plata puestas en triángulo y con el tallo hacia arriba. Estas armas se ven en la sepultura de Berenguer de R., que data del año 1341, en la iglesia de Santa María, del lugar de Estanuy, que pertenece al partido judicial de Manresa y provincia de Barcelona. Otros trajeron: En campo de oro, una faja ondeada de azur cargada, de dos ceñidores de plata, también ondeados, y acompañada de tres peras de sinople, puestas dos en el jefe y otra en la punta. Otros: De oro, tres billetes de gules, cargado cada uno de tres peras de plata puestas en triángulo. El estudio del escudo heráldico familiar nos "habla" de quienes formaron el origen de la familia R., pues esa era su función, la de manifestar a los demás sus elementos diferenciales. Los esmaltes del arma de los R. pregonan los siguientes valores: el Oro es el símbolo del Sol, origen de la vida, sus características espirituales corresponden a la fé, clemencia, templanza, caridad y justicia, por otra parte dicho esmalte señala a la familia con la felicidad, el amor, la nobleza y el esplendor, es decir, es el más noble de los metales. ...
