Nobility crown RoalesEn el manuscrito número 11.784, folio 772, minuta del Rey de Armas don José Alfonso de Guerra y Villegas, que se conserva en la Sala de Manuscritos de la Biblioteca Nacional, se dice que el apellido R. procede de las Montañas de Burgos y de la familia de los Gutiérrez. También se consigna en el citado manuscrito que los de este linaje tuvieron su antiguo solar cerca de la ciudad de Oviedo. Pero todos esos datos son contradictorios y confusos, puesto que a la vez, y sin explicación de ninguna clase, hacen proceder a esta familia primero de las Montañas de Burgos, luego de Galicia y por último de Asturias. Parece más seguro que el apellido R. es originario de la villa de Roales (cuyo nombre tomara), perteneciente al partido judicial de Villalón y provincia de Valladolid. Una de sus ramas residió en la villa de Tiedra, del partido judicial de la Mota del Marqués, en la misma provincia, y otra pasó a la de Burgos, cuyos descendientes ganaron ejecutoria de hidalguía en la Real Chancillería de Valladolid en el año 1793. Doña Francisca R. y Calvo, natural de Tiedra (Valladolid), casó con don Fernando Ruiz-Bamba y Alonso, que era Regidor por el Estado Noble el año 1800 de la villa de Tiedra. ...
