Nobility crown RocabertiDon Luis de Salazar y Castro afirma en su "Historia de la Casa de Lara", que el primer Conde de Perelada fué Francisco Jofré de R., Vizconde de Rocaberti, que casó en 1616 con doña Magdalena Zaforteza, y lo comprueban un expediente de pruebas de la Orden de Santiago. Dicho Francisco Jofré había nacido en la villa de Perelada y era hijo de Franciso Dalmau, Vizconde de R., natural de Rerelada, y de su tercera mujer, doña Práxedes de Pax, natural de Mallorca. Doña Magdalena Zaforteza nació en Mallorca, y fueron sus padres Pedro Ramón Burgués Zaforteza, Conde de Santa María de Fromigueira, del Consejo de Guerra de Felipe IV, Presidente y Capián General de los Reinos de Mallorca y Cerdeña y Caballero de Calatrava, y doña Violante Español, ambos naturales de Mallorca. Los primeros Condes de Perelada, Vizcondes de Rocaberti, don Francisco Jofré y doña Magdalena, tuvieron estos hijos: Francisco Dalmau de R. y Zaforteza, segundo Conde de Perelada; Ramón Dalmau, tercer Conde de Perelada, primer Marqués de Angelsola y Vizconde de Rocaberti; Martín, natural de Perelada y Caballero de Santiago en 1648; Pedro, de quien no tenemos noticias; Juan Tomás, General de la Orden de Predicadores y luego Arzobispo de Valencia e Inquisidor General de España; María y Práxedes, monjas en Perelada; Esclaramunda, que casó el 6 de Junio de 1649 con Juan Bojadós, Conde de Zavellá, y Elisenda de R., cuarta condesa de Perelada, Marquesa de Anglesola y Vizcondesa de Rocaberti, mujer de Ramón de Rocafull. ...
