Según consta en la Historia General del P. Alonso Remón, capítulo XXIV del libro IV, esta gran familia catalana contaba ya en principios del siglo XIII con distinguidos varones en las armas, en las letras y en la política. Ramón R., con Bernardo y Arnaldo de Fluviá y Ramón de Vilanova, confirma en una escritura del 10 de las calendas de abril de 1217, que se conservaba en el archivo de la iglesia de San Vicente de la villa de Cardona, del partido judicial de Berga y provincia de Barcelona. Juan R., de la real casa y familia de la reina de doña María esposa de don Pedro II de Aragón, fue almirante y consejero del también monarca aragonés don Alfonso II. Bernardo R. figura entre los caballeros que tenían castillos y potestades por el rey don Jaime I de Aragón en la Ribagorza, según consta en reales cartas a ellos dirigidas y dadas en Lérida a 18 de los idus de abril de 1272. R. de Lluria era en 1282 capitán y gobernador de Augusta por el rey don Pedro III de Aragón, y el mismo monarca le nombró almirante de Cataluña y Sicilia en 1283. Nueve años más tarde desempeñaba el cargo de almirante de todos los reinos de Aragón. Juan R. de Lluria, hijo de Luis R. de Lluria, obtuvo real privilegio del rey Felipe III de Castilla, dado en Madrid el 4 de julio de 1618. Casas de este linaje radicaron en la villa de Calella, del partido judicial de Arenys de Mar y provincia de Barcelona, y el lugar de Prenyanosa, que pertenece al partido judicial de Cervera y provincia de Lérida. ...
