Lo llevó a Mallorca en principios del pasado siglo don Antonio R., mariscal de campo de los Reales Ejércitos Españoles y Gran Cruz de Isabel la Católica. Se domicilió en Palma y, habiendo casado su hijo, Adolfo R. y Guzmán, con doña Dionisia Gual y Salas, fundó en Mallorca la casa de su apellido. Doña Dionisia sucedió en la casa de Pueyo y en los estados de Suñer y Planicia con el título de marquesa de Campo, por muerte de doña Josefa de Pueyo y Chacón, quinta marquesa, acaecida el 30 de diciembre de 1841. El estudio del escudo heráldico familiar nos "habla" de quienes formaron el origen de la familia R., pues esa era su función, la de manifestar a los demás sus elementos diferenciales, pues la inclusión del elemento palo es la característica de los nobles de origen militar, (Palos) quiere aparentar los palos del "castrum" (campamento). Los esmaltes del arma de los R. pregonan los siguientes valores: el Azur corresponde al símbolo del agua, de la continuidad de la vida, es un color de nobleza, belleza, castidad y fidelidad, además otras virtudes caracterizaban a la familia, tales como la abundancia económica, la perseverancia, la suerte, la fama y el afán de victoria. ...
