La famiglia Sandrin, inoltre, è annoverata tra le maggiori di Périgueux. Nel 1635, rinveniamo un Helie Sandrin, signore di Fonpitou, avvocato in Saint-Martial-de Viveyrols; nel 1639, un Pierre, signore di Fonpitou, fu consigliere in Périgueux; François, scudiero e signore di la Rolandie, fu avvocato in Périgueux, nel 1658-59. Con lettere patenti di Luigi XIV, alla famiglia venne confermata l'avita nobiltà, come registrato dalla Corte di Bordeaux, in data 26 maggio 1659. Con lettere patenti del 1776, le venne, nuovamente, confermata tal nobiltà.
