Nobility crown SenisterraFamilia originaria de Bretaña, trasladada a Sicilia en tiempos de los angevinos. Es recordada por Villavianca en el "Sicilia Nobile", y en el "Filadelfio Munoz". A principios del siglo XV ya había pasado a Catalña una rama de este linaje, y fundó su casa solar en la villa de Besalú, del partido judicial de Olot y provincia de Gerona. Francisco S. y de Santa Eugenia fué Señor de las Baronías de Monells y de Ullstret. Casó con doña Yolanda Vilanova y procrearon a Miguel de S. Vilanova, que ingresó en la Orden de San Juan de Jerusalén en 1535. Alejo de S., también catalán, casó con doña Gabriela Casterás, y procrearon a María de S. Casterás, mujer de Angel Casterás, Barón de Sournia, vecinos de Barcelona y padres de Hipólita de Casterás y S., que contrajo matrimonio con Francisco de Cartellá y Sabastida, Barón de Albi, naciendo de esta unión Juan de Cartellá Casterás y S., bautizado en la iglesia de San Justo, de Barcelona, el 26 de Febrero de 1743. Ingresó en la Orden de San Juan de Jerusalén en 1755. Otra rama de este linaje pasó a Colombia y fué su tronco y fundador el español Francisco S., que casó con doña Teresa Fernández de Soto, hija de Pedro Fernández de Soto y doña Gertrudis Rengifo; nieta de Juan Fernández de Soto y doña Felipa Herrrea, y bisnieta de Martín Fernández de Soto y doña Margarita sánchez Ellín. Fueron padres de Francisco S. Rengifo, segundo del nombre, Alcalde Mayor Provincial de la ciudad de Buga de 1767 hasta 1782. ...
