Antichissima e nobilissima famiglia di San Severino. Suo capostipite un Radivisio, vivente nel sec. XII. Da lui ne venne un Servanzio, che diede il nome alla famiglia, nel 1235 fu vicario in Macerata per Santa Romana Chiesa, sotto Gregorio IX. Fu egli di parte guelfa, ma con il suo tatto e fermezza riuscì a metter pace tra le avverse fazioni. La famiglia appartenne fin da tal epoca alla prima nobiltà sanseverinate, e dette alla patria, podestà, castellani, consoli, gonfalonieri; parecchi suoi membri vestirono gli abiti degli Ordini di Malta e di S. Stefano, ed ebbero l'aggregazione alla nobiltà di varie città d'Italia. Sono da ricordare: Astolfo, che fu al Concilio di Trento con mons. Angelo Massarelli, dove fu sottosegretario ed estensore.
