La presente famiglia ha comune l'origine coi Sobreri conti della Costa, che si estinsero con Ernesto, morto celibe in Torino nel 1892. Di questa linea è ricordo di Ascanio, di Lorenzo, che fu procuratore in Torino e viveva agli inizi del sec. XVIII.
