Nobility crown SrosaIllustrissima famiglia, originaria della città di L'Aquila, detta Dellarosa, Della Rosa, De Rosa o, più semplicemente, Rosa, nobile fuori Piazza, in Napoli, ascritta al Monte Manso nel 1748, decorata il 18 gennaio 1700 del titolo di marchese, in persona di Carlo Antonio, presidente del Sacro Regio Consiglio; tale titolo poi fu infisso sul feudo di Villarosa (territorio feudale in Principato Citra) come dall'ultima intestazione di detto feudo a Tommaso, il 4 maggio 1768, nel cedolario di detta Provincia. Fu ricevuta, per giustizia, nel S. M. O. di Malta, nel 1766, come quarto della famiglia Palmieri di Napoli (Grande Archivio di Stato Napoli, Priorato di Barletta, volume 29), ed ascritta nel Registro dei cavalieri di Malta di giustizia. La famiglia è iscritta nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobile Italiano del 1922, col titolo di marchese di Villarosa (mpr.), in persona dei discendenti da Tommaso, di Carlo Antonio; ascritta al Registro di Malta, ed è ...
