Ancient and noble family from Verona, to whose noble Council was ascribed early as the tenth fifth century, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has spread, over the centuries, in different regions of Europe and of the World, even changing a bit its last name. A large branch of the family, with the title of count, flourished in Venice and there an Andrea was secretary of the Council of the Ten in the first half of the seventeenth century. A Domenico for having offered to the Republic a hundred thousand ducats for the needs of the war against the Turks,... Continuaobtained, in 1648, the Venetian patrician class. Moreover, this family, in all ages, always stands out, thanks to the prominent figures, which gave birth, in the public service, in the liberal and ecclesiastical professions and in the military service. Among these, without undervalue the omitted, we would like to mention: Giacomo, landowner, flourishing in Verona, in 1532; Pietro, doctor in "utroque jure", flourishing in Verona, in 1578; Alessandro, landowner, flourishing in Verona, in 1603; Federico, notary, flourishing in Venice, in 1623; Fr. Angelo, of the Order of Preachers, flourishing in 1653; Gio.
