Esta antiquísima familia asturiana, apellidada así porque sus primitivos progenitores tuvieron su asiento y grandes bienes en la villa y tierras de Tineo, procede, según viejos documentos y antiguos historiadores, de Sarracino Syliz, que en el reinado de don Alfonso III, "el Magno", era Conde de Astorga y del Bierzo y Ricohombre. Fué padre de Berino o Berulfo Sarracíniz, que gozó de la dignidad de Conde y murió sin sucesión, y Félix Sarracíniz, que sigue. Este Félix Sarracíniz sucedió a su padre y tuvo esta hija y heredera Torilba o Dorilada o Rosilda Félix de T., Señora de esta casa y mujer de Cromacio Mellíniz, caballero de Galicia que había pasado a Asturias. El Rey Ramiro III hizo una cuantiosa donación a estos esposos, y ambos fundaron el Monasterio de Santos Justo y Pástor y otro en Allande, parroquia del partido judicial de Tineo, bajo la advocación de San Jorge. Tuvieron cuatro hijos, siendo el sucesor Félix Mellíniz, que vivió en el reinado de Bermudo II y fué padre de Trutino Félix, que vivió reinando Alfonso V y procreó a Alvaro Trutínez, que sirvió al Rey Fernando "el Magno" y casó con doña Ello, en quien tuvo este hijo y sucesor Rodrigo Álvarez, que vivió en tiempos de Alfonso VI. Fué padre de Pedro Rodríguez de T., primero que aparece de nominado T. Vivió reinando doña Urrara y le sucedió su hijo Pelayo Pérez T., que floreció en tiempos del Emperador Alfonso VII. Su hijo Gonzalo Peláez de T., Señor de esta casas, fué Ricohombre don Fernando II de León. ...
