Nobility crown TinteniacTrès illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: Donoal, mentionné dans un titre de Saint-Georges de Rennes en 1036; Etiennette, abbesse de Saint-Georges en 1184, Guillaume, abbé de Saint-Melaine en 1220; Alain, croisé en 1248 (Chartes latines de 1191 à 1249 relatives aux croisés, provenant du cabinet Courtois), père d'Olivier, marié à Havoise d'Avaugour, dame de Bécherel, dont: Olivier, marié à Eustaisse de Châteaubriant. De ce mariage: Jean, l'un des champions du combat des Trente en 1350, tué à la bataille de Mauron en 1352; Alain, aussi combattant des Trente; Olivier, marié en 1343 à Amice de Léon, père de Geoffroi, marié à Béatrix du Matz, dont la postérité s'établit au XVème siècle en Anjou. Cette branche, qui existe encore, a produit: Simon, écuyer tranchant des rois de Sicile Jean et Charles d'Anjou, et capitaine en Provence, en 1480; deux abbés de Saint-Aubin d'Angers au XVIème siècle; Pierre, seigneur du Percher qui revint en Bretagne par son mariage en 1520 avec Françoise, dame de Quimerc'h, dont il prit les armes; René, chevalier de l'ordre en 1564; un maréchal de camp en 1815, frère aîné d'un chevau-léger, tué dans les Chouans en 1795. Un membre admis aux honneurs de la cour en 1788. La branche aînée fondue dans Laval, puis en 1404 dans Montfort, d'où la seigneurie de Tinténiac est passée en 1518 aux Rieux et en 1547 aux Coligny; la branche possessionnée, paroisses de Bais et de Marcillé, fondue vers 1470 dans la Chapelle de Bœuvre. ...
