Antica famiglia di Feltre detta primitivamente "de Tomo" dal castello omonimo. Possedette altresì i castelli di Lusena e di Porcen. Carlo IV imperatore con suo Dipl. dato da Feltre il 27 maggio 1335 confermò a Benedetto di Tomo i dominio del castello omonimo con le annesse giurisdizioni. Questa famiglia è annoverata fra quelle feltrensi che presero parte alla prima Crociata. Abitando per ragioni di interesse in Oderzo, il 29 febb. 1556 fu ascritta anche a quel nobile Consiglio.
