Un Tommaso Tommasini, frate domenicano, fu eletto nel 1410 Vescovo di Cittanuova nell'Istria, nel 1420 trasferito da Papa martino V alla sede di Pola, nel 1425 a quella di Urbino, l'anno susseguente a quella di Trau, nel 1435 traslatato alla sede di Recanati e Macerata, e finalmente nel 1440 alle chiese unite di Feltre e di Belluno.
