Nobility crown TortesaFamiglia catalana un cui ramo si trasferì a Cagliari nel secolo XIV. Erano mercanti e nel 1381 un Pietro ottenne il cavalierato ereditario. Nel secolo XV l'importanza della famiglia andò aumentndo, nel 1481 un altro Pietro fu ammesso allo stamento militare. In seguito egli fu governatore di Cagliari e nel 1487 vicerè interino. Suo figlio Gaspare fu anche lui governatore di Cagliari. Nel secolo successivo espressero alcune altre personalità, Antonio fu consigliere capo del castello nel 1547 e nel 1552, Pietro nel 1555, nel 1562 e nel 1566. Suo figlio Gaspare, consigliere capo nel 1603 e nel 1611, nel 1620 ottenne il riconoscimento della nobiltà. Nel 1639 il dottor Francesco, figlio del dottor Antioco, sposò una Porcella e, dopo una lite col fisco ottenne la succssione nelle baronie di S. Sperate e Serdiana.
