Originaria da Massalubrense, detta anticamente De Turri. Nicolò fu consigliere di re Roberto. Possedette feudi nell'Abruzzo Citra, fu ammessa nell'Ordine Costantiniano di S. Giorgio ed il 15 gennaio 1834 venne, con avviso della Regia Commissione dei Titoli di Nobiltà, dichiarata ammissibile nelle Regie Guardie del Corpo. La famiglia è iscritta nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobiliare Italiano del 1922 col titolo di nobile (mf.) per i discendenti da Raffaele, aspirante a Regia Guardia del Corpo nel 1834.
