Nobility crown UrangaHubo casas de este linaje en las villas de Bermeo, del partido de Guernica y de Ondárroa, del de Marquina, en Vizcaya, y en Vergara y Anzuola, ésta del partido de Azpéitia, en Guipúzcoa. José Martín de U. probó su hidalguía en U., en 1804; Juan Batista de U. y otros, en Tolosa, en 1757; Ignacio de U., en Villareal de Urrechu, en 1749; Pedro de U., en Villafranca, en 1751; otro Pedro de U., en Beizama, en 1617, e Hilario de U., en 1656; Ignacio de U., en Irún, en 1740, y otro Ignacio de U., en Azpéitia, en 1767. Eugenio de U. y Michelena, natural de Ataun (Guipúzcoa), residió en Cartagena de Indias, y el 9 de Julio de 1834 ingresó en la orden de Alcántara, como premio a los servicios prestados durante una gran epidemia. Juan José de U., y Azcune, natural de Salvatierra de Álava, fué General carlista, y creado por el Pretendiente, el 26 de Agosto de 1840, Conde de Elciego. También le concedió el Collar de Carlos III. En el siglo XVIII existió en Guipúzcoa un fabricante de papel apellidado U. Antonio de U. Tellería, nacido en Berrobí (Guipúzcoa), fué Caballero de la Orden de Santiago,c on fecha 9 de Abril de 1716.
