Un Galuzzino, notaro, figura come teste in un atto di vendita 15 marzo 1266 dei signori di Vezzano a Nicolò Fieschi (notaro Guglielmo di S. Giorgio). Nel 1600 un ramo della famiglia si trasferì a Napoli, ove nacque il 16 nov. 1613 Girolamo, di Gio. Andrea, di Geronimo, di Galeazzo. Eccelse questi nello studio del diritto, sicchè ristorate le sorti della famiglia, acquistò il marchesato della Rocchetta.
