Da Mestre si trapiantò in Rivalto, e fu una delle antiche famiglie tribunizie. Si spense con Messer Giovanni essendo podestà in Chioggia nel 1286. Molte famiglie che dimoravano in Venezia appartenevano alla nobiltà. Nel Libro d'Oro della nobiltà veneta e ne il Patriziato Veneto dopo la guerra di Candia e la Serrata del Maggior Consiglio del 1646, eventi questi che lasciarono fama immortale pel grande senno politico e virtù cittadine, troviamo illustre questa famiglia.
