Nobility crown VeresaDa Rapallo, Savona ed altri luoghi della riviera di Ponente. Bertolotto Celexia fu tra i cittadini che giurarono la pace con Pisa nel 1188; Giacomo ufficiale di Montea nel 1439. Ascritti in famiglia Pinetti, nel 1528, Gio-Andrea e Gregorio fratelli di Benedetto. Pier-Paolo di Giambattista fu ministro della repubblica presso la Corte di Londra nel 1755-1759. Originari di Savoia, poi in Aosta, dove Giovanni Cerise veniva nobilitato dal duca Emanuele Filiberto con Patenti del 16 luglio 1560, si trasferirono a mezzo il secolo XVIII, in Torino, dove Secondo Domenico aveva studio di causidico collegiato. Uno dei suoi figli Alessandro (n. Torino, 21 settembre 1752; dec. Aosta, 9 agosto 1823), fu nobilitato ed infeudato di Bonvillaret il 17 luglio 1792 e investito il 21 agosto successivo, col titolo comitale.
