Alexandre Vichet, conseiller du Roi, contrôleur général des domaines de la généralité de Montpellier et pays de Roussillon, demeurant à Nîmes, présenta ses armoiries pour être enregistrées à l'armorial général de France, le 8 avril 1697. Le 10 septembre 1794, Marie-Jospeh-Alexandre-Bruno de Vichet, inspecteur général des douanes, fils d'Alexandre-Grégoire, Président-Trésorier de France, et de Marie-Rose-Suzane de Ribière de Clermont d'Antremont, épousa, à Montpellier, Louise-Philippa Riouffol d'Auteville. De leur mariage, il ne vint qu'un fils, Marie-Georges-Alexandre-Bruno, marquis de Vichet, né à Saint-Georges-les-Bains, canton de Lavoulte-sur-Rhône, le 23 tremidor an III (11 août 1795). Il entra à l'Ecole militaire de Saint-Cyr, le 14 octobre 1813, fut officier aux gardes du corps de Monsieur (le comte d'Artois) à la compagnie de Puységur et fut capitaine au troisième régiment de lanciers, à Libourne, puis à Hagueriau, et nommé chevalier de la Légion d'honneur le 24 avril 1842. Il épousa à Saint-Martin-Boulogne (Pas-de-Calais)le 7 décembre 1831, Aglaé-Adélaïde de Roussel de Préville, dont deux filles. L'aînée, Adèle Vichet, épousa, à Boulogne-sur-Mer, en 1862, M.
