Pierre-Victor, chef d'escadron, chevalier de la Légion-d'Honneur et des ordres royaux et militaires de St-Louis et de St-Ferdinand d'Espagne, dernier représentant mâle de cette famille, est mort, il y a quelques années, à Périgueux. Si le nom de cette famille ne se trouve pas dans les rôles des gentilshommes du Périgord, de 1712, sa noblesse se constaterait par les deux charges qu'elle a occupées dans le dernier siècle: de secrétaire du roi et de trésorier général. Sur son testament du 19 novembre 1962, sous le nom de Jean Bouchier et de Hélie don frère procureur, les armes sont à un arbre terrassé: au chef chargé d'un croissant accosté de deux étoiles.
