Nobility crown VillarsFamille de robe du mandement de Solignac, anoblie au XVème siècle. Vital, notaire de Solignac avant 1350, est cité dans un hommage de 1388; Hugues jurisconsulte, témoin le 19 juillet 1352 d'un accord entre Lioutaud, seigneur de Solignac, chevalier et Artaud de Fay, commandeur de St-Jean du Puy. Noble Jean s'oblige pour une fondation au couvent des frère mineurs du puy, le 19 mars 1466. François vend le 24 mars 1581 à Mathieu Farnier, des rentes nobles à Solignac. Sa veuve, Isabeau de Pierres, transige le 19 mars 1597 avec le sieur de Talon. Noble Godefroy, seigneur de Villefeu, docteur ès droits, juge de la vicomté de Polignac, de la baronnie de St-Haon, de la vicomté de Beaune et de l'abbaye de La Chaise-Dieu, conseiller du roi et lieutenant au bailliage de Velay (1559-1574), est dit père de noble Jean, seigneur de Lespinasse, docteur en droit, bailli de la baronnie de Sereys-St-Jean-de-Nay (1601), lequel épousa Marguerite de Chantrel, d'où: noble Christophe, seigneur de Lespinasse, diocèse du Puy, docteur en droit, avocat au parlement de Paris, marié le 23 mars 1648, à Anne de Pauche. Ceux-ci laissèrent noble J.-B. de Villars, seigneur de Lespinasse, la Coste, déclaré noble par jugement du 7 février 1660. François fit une reconnaissance féodale, pour ses biens sis à Chaudeyrac près Cayres, au prieur de Goudet, le premièr mars 1726. ...
