Nobility crown VilleonTrès illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: Macé, croisé en 1248 (Chartes latines de 1191 à 1249 relatives aux croisés, provenant du cabinet Courtois); Rolland, marié à Jeanne de Lesquen, ratifie le traité de Guérande en 1381; Mathurin, fils des précédents, épouse Marguerite Maubier, dont: Jacques, sénéschal de Rennes en 1479, chancelier de Bretagne et l'un des commissaires qui instruisirent le procès du trésorier Landais, en 1485, qui a continué la filiation; Rolland, sénéchal d'Hennebont et ambassadeur en Angleterre en 1486; deux chevaliers de l'ordre en 1600 et 1644; une fille à Saint-Cyr en 1787; un abbé de Lanvaux mort en 1783. Autre branche: Étienne, lieutenant de la juridiction de Saint-Malo en 1668, secrétaire du Roi près la cour des aides de Clermont-Ferrand en 1707. On trouve des Macé, seigneurs de la Villeneuve et des Rosais, employés aux réformations et montres de 1535 à 1543, paroisse de Plérin, évêché de Saint-Brieuc; mais nous ne savons s'ils appartenaient à la même famille. ...
