Nobility crown VinaLa Casa de V. en Canarias, desciende de la noble patricia genovesa del mismo nombre, que figura inscrita en el Libro de Oro de aquella República y fue refundida en la de Negrón, una de la veintiocho Casas mayores de la Nobleza de Génova en 1928. Mateo V. Negrón, patricio genovés, mercader y Armador, se estableció en Gran Canaria, asociándose con otros compañeros en 1494, para financiar la segunda invasión de Alonso de Lugo a Tenerife, permaneciendo unido a él en adelante y recibiendo como recompensa a sus muchos y buenos servicios en la Conquista, extenso repartimiento de tierras en Tenerife. Mateo V. contrajo matrimonio con Doña Catalina de Gallegos, noble señora jerezana, con la que tuvo los hijos siguientes: Fabián V. Negrón, Maestre de Campo del Tercio de Daute, Regidor Perpetuo de Tenerife en 1541, Coronel de la Infantería española en los Tercios de Italia. El Emperador Carlos IV le nombró en 1576, Alcaide Perpetuo del Castillo de San Miguel de Grachico. Nicolás V. Negrón, que casó en Tenerife con Doña María de Armas. Florentina V. Negrón, mujer del Capitán Luis Perdomo de Cabrera. María V. Negrón, que casó con Bartolomé Jovel de Carmenatis. Juliana, sin estado. Leonor V. Negrón, mujer de Juan Alberto Noldo Geraldin, noble ciudadano de Florencia. Ana V. Negrón y Gallegos, que casó con García de Vergara, hijo de Juan de Vergara Carvajal, Conquistador de la isla de Tenerife, natural de Los Santos de Maimona (Badajoz). ...
