Nobility crown XeaDe Aragón, con casa solar en la villa de Egea de los Caballeros (cuyo nombre tomó), de la provincia de Zaragoza. Juan Crisóstomo de E. fué de la Audiencia Real de Aragón en 1646. Juan Exea y Pedro López de Exea acompañaron al Rey Don Alfonso el Sabio en la conquista del reino de Murcia y fueron pobladores en esta ciudad y en Lorca. En la villa de Beceite, del partido judicial de Valderrobres (Teruel), moró una línea de este apellido, de la que fué Gabriel Sancho de Exea, natural de Beceite, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Bárbara Moragriega, de igual naturaleza, y fueron padres de José Sancho de Exea natural de Beceite, esposo de doña Francisca de Paula Morellón, de la misma naturaleza, y ambos padres de Alberto de Exea y Morellón, natural de Tortosa y del hábito de Santiago, que vistió en 11 de Mayo de 1696. Otro solar de Exea hubo en Navarra, en la villa de Sada de Sangüesa, del partido judicial de Aoiz, y a esa casa solar pertenecieron Martín de Exea, Juan de Exea y María de Exea, todos vecinos de la villa de Fitero (Navarra), que en 1770 solicitaron de los Tribunales navarros que ses les declarase la nobleza que les correspondía como descendientes de dicho solar, lo que se mandó así. También fué descendiente de la misma casa de Sada de Sangüesa Ginés de X., hijodalgo, que por los años de1605 florecía en Vélez-Rubio (Almería). Fué uno de los fundadores de la Hermandad del Carmen. Su hijo, Gabriel de X., figuró varias veces como Alcalde ordinario. ...
