A Mateo Z., en 19 de julio de 1463, el rey Juan II le concedió el privilegio de noble del reino de Mallorca. Fray Francisco Z. y Forteza fue comendador de Torres de Segre en la Orden de San Juan en 1627. Mateo Z. y Gual fue caballero de la Orden de Alcántara en 1635 y Juan Z. y Gual lo fue de la de Calatrava. Jaime Z. y Z. fue caballero de la Orden de Santiago y embajador en Roma, falleció sin hijos y su casa pasó a los Berga.
