Nobility crown ZuanellaAncient and noble Italian family, originally known as Giovanelli but later became Zuanelli or Zuanella due to Venetian dialect phenomena, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. Tradition, however, has it that this family was originally from the city of Bergamo, in Lombardy. Some of its exponents, to seek greater fortunes, however, emigrated to Germany from whence they then moved on to reside in Hungary. There, thanks to the mines, they achieved great wealth that brought him the title of Barons of the Holy Roman Empire, the counties of Televana, Morengo and Carpenedo and the lordships of Domavetz and Navetz, in Upper Hungary. With these important prerogatives, the members of this family were enrolled in the Hungarian nobility. In 1668, as some of them settled in Venice, they were also enrolled in the Venetian patriciate.
