Vuolsi che la famiglia Agostinetto sia una diramazione del nobile casato Agosti, originario di Como ma passato in Belluno nel XV secolo, ove fu aggregato a quel nobile consiglio, nel 1607 ma si estinse nel 1670. Un altro ramo, invece, ottenne il titolo comitale, derivante dall'investitura di un carato della contea giurisdizionale di Cesana conseguita in ordine al decreto del Senato Veneto 28 Novembre 1748, in ragione di feudo nobile, retto, legale, gentile ed antico. Nel 1759, venne anch'esso aggregato allo stesso Consiglio, nella persona del Conte Francesco e dei suoi discendenti. Con sovrane risoluzioni 19 Novembre 1820, 14 Febbraio 1821 e 29 Ottobre 1829, furono confermati a questa famiglia la nobiltà e il titolo comitale. Altra famiglia. Nobile casato di Bassano, conosciuto come Agostinelli, Agostinello o Agostinetto, al cui nobile consiglio fu aggregato nel 1727, in persona di Francesco A. La nobiltà gli venne confermato dall'Imperatore d'Austria nel 1821. ...
