André fut curé de Saint-agrève du Puy de 1497 à 1530. A cette dernière date, lors de la grande procession décrite dans les chroniques de Médicis, Étienne figura comme l'un des deux bayles de la corporation des Chévriers. Pierre est cité dans le compoix de 1544. Jacques consul du Puy en 1552, avait un hôtel en Pannessac. Jean occupait la même charge en 1583. Branche en Gévaudan. La Généaologie de cette famille a été donnée par d'Hozier dans le premier registre de l'Armorial général de France, 1738, p. 11. Nous trouvons aux Archives d'Aubenas plusieurs actes intéressant cette maison. Cette ancienne famille qui a joué un rôle prépondérant dans l'histoire de la noblesse française, a fourni une foule de personnages illustres dès le XIIème siècle.
