Nobility crown CampraProcede de Galicia, donde tuvo casa solar muy antigua. Una línea pasó a Castilla en el siglo XVIII, estableciéndose en Palencia. A ella perteneció: Manuel de la C., natural de Palencia, que contrajo matrimonio con doña María Canedo y González (nacida en la villa de Cigales, Valladolid, el 1º de Febrero de 1738) y fueron padres de María de la C. y Canedo, nacida en Palencia el año de 1768. Casó en Valladolid con Pedro Nicasio Álvarez Benavides y Corchero en 21 de Junio de 1786 y murió en la misma ciudad el 13 de Abril de 1804. De este matrimonio fué hijo: Hilario Álvarez Benavides y de la C., que nació en Valladolid el 14 de Enero de 1789 y casó en Sevilla el 11 de Febrero de 1817 con doña María Josefa López González. Murió en Sevilla el 17 de Abril de 1835, dejando por hijo a Manuel Álvarez Benavides y López, nacido en Sevilla el 14 de Enero de 1821. ...
