Nobility crown DAntique noblesse possessionnée en 1160, au château d'Ucel près Aubenas en Vivarais. On trouve son nom aussi écrit Ucel. Elle compte parmi ses membres les seigneurs d'Ucel - sous - Aubenas, de Genestelle, de Craux, des Arcis, de Cordes, coseigneurs d'Antraigues, de Présailles, etc. Marquis d'Ucel. Hugues marié à noble Louise Flandrin, sœur du cardinal de ce nom, fut le père de Reymond III, seigneur de Craux (1369-1435), allié à Marguerite de Saint-Bonnet. Marguerite avait épousé Guynon de Châteauneuf, seigneur de Rochebonne, chevalier banneret de Philippe de Lévis, baron de Roche en Régnier (1418), et gouverneur de St-Bonnet-le-Château. Elle en était veuve en 1454. Filiation suivie depuis Gratien, écuyer, seigneur de Craux, coseigneur d'Antraigues, marié le 17 février 1517 à Marguerite de la Roussière. René épousa le 25 août 1624 Marie de Vogué. Cette maison, maintenue dans sa noblesse le 15 janvier 1671, s'éteignit avec Marie-Thérèse, fille de Charles-Antoine marquis d'Ucel, laquelle épousa le 13 mai 1750, Joseph-Antoine de Raymond-Mourmoiron, marquis de Modène. ...
