Nobility crown De BroonsTrès illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: Guillaume, marié à Alix de Dinan, se croisa en 1248 et couvert de feu grégeois à la bataille de la Massoure, défendit le pont qui assura la retraite du Roi; Olivier et Jean, abbés de Saint-Aubin des Bois de 1484 à 1495; Bertrand, abbé de Saint-Jacut, mort en 1471; François, panetier de la reine et capitaine de Morlaix en 1513; deux chevaliers de l'ordre en 1541 et 1589. La branche aînée fondue en 1270 dans la maison du Guesclin, d'où la seigneurie de Broons a été possédée successivement par les maisons de Bretagne et de Penthièvre; elle fut achetée au XV siècle par le seigneur de Brézé qui la revendit à Jean de Villeblanche. Elle appartint depuis aux Espinay et par alliance en 1689 aux Lorraine-Brionne, qui la vendirent en 1775 aux de Bruc. La branche de Brondineuf fondue en 1498 dans Carméné, d'où la seigneurie de Brondineuf a passé successivement par alliance aux Derval, puis en 1715 aux Saint-Pern. Une branche cadette trasplantée en Normandie, y fut maintenue en 1667. ...
