Nobility crown De VincensIllustre maison du Comtat-Venaissin, possessionnée sur les flancs du mont Ventoux dès 1022. Filiation: Giraud seigneur de Brantes, Savoillans, St-Léger, etc., marié vers 1200 à Isabeau de Caromb. Un de leurs descendants s'allia au XIIIème siècle à Tiburgette de Baux (des princes d'Orange) qui lui apporta une partie de la baronnie de Causans dont l'autre moitié revint à Pierre en 1346, par alliance avec Françoise de Mauléon. Leur postérité releva le nom et les armes de Mauléon et d'Astóaud. Plus tard (1511), un cadet de cette maison: Fouquet, fut substitué aux noms et armes des d'Agoult, d'où les de Vincens d'Agoult. Un abbé du Monastier-St-Chaffre (1360-1374); des chevaliers du Temple; de nombreux chevaliers de Malte; des commandeurs et un grand prieur de cet ordre; des lieutenants de roi au gouvernement de Provence et de la principauté d'Orange; un lieutenant-général des armées; deux maréchaux de camp; des colonels, officiers et chevaliers de St-Louis; un député de la noblesse d'Orange aux Etats généraux; un député sous la Restauration, pair de France, etc.. Possessionnée de nos jours, au château de Causans (Vaucluse), dans la Haute-Loire et en Périgord. Très belles alliances. ...
