Nobility crown DeroudilheLe nom de Roudil ou Roudhile est assez repandu dans la région de Villeneuve-de-Berg au XVIIème siècle. On trouve ce nom aussi écrit Deroudilhe, Rodilhe, Rodilhes et Roudilhes. En 1464, les biens de Pierre Deroudilhe, de la paroisse de Rocles, furent estimés: une vigne contenant 3 journaux, 30 deniers; avec autre vigne contenant un journal, 10 deniers (Archives departementales C. 570). Le 6 mars 1496, une vente est faite par Louis Roudil, de Saint-Montan, au diocèse de Viviers, et Claude de Serres, mari de Jeanne Roudil, soeur de Louis, à Jean Gratard, marchand et cardeur , de Tresques, de toutes leurs possessions de Tresques et de Saint-Martin-de-Jussan, pour le prix de 40 florins (Archives du Gard E. 382). Le 15 novembre 1596, Louise d'Ussel, veuve de Pierre de Blou, ayant charge de noble Jacques de Blou, son fils, passa lods à P. Deroudilhe qui avait acquis une terre de sa directe, de Jean et Claude Dours, de Champelaux, paroisse de Joannas. Maître David Roudil, praticien de Villeneuve de Berg, épousa Jeanne de Guilhon, fille de noble Antoine de Guilhon, seigneur de Beaupré, et d'Alexandrine du Cheylard d'Albignas, avant 1664. M. Maître Louis Roudil, avocat en parlement, fils de M. Louis, conseiller du Roi au bailliage de Villeneuve-de-Berg, épousa, vers 1700, Pierre de Guilhon, fille de feu Maître Jean-Baptiste, vivant, notaire royal de la même ville. Le 20 novembre 1629, Antoine Rodilhe de Tournon-lès-Viviers, fit son testament, il demanda à être inhumé dans le cimitière de l'église de Saint-Hilaire de Chasbrun en la tombe de ses parents (Archives départementales. Deconches, notaire). En 1629, Louis Rodilhes habitait Chalabreysse. Catherine, habitant à Avignon, fit une donation, avant 1735, en faveur de Guillaume Chalabrèges, de la paroisse de Chassiers (Archives départementales B. 130). ...
