Elle compte parmi ses membres les seigneurs de Lacroix, de Massigaud, de Freycenet, de Pigeyres, de Banis, etc. Jean, greffier des Etats du Velay (1662), fit inscrire en 1696, ses armoires dans d'Hozier. Marie-Anne Duchamp de Lacroix de Massigaud, fille d'autre Jean, épousa le 2 juillet 1703 Jean-François de Frévol, seigneur d'Aubignac. Pierre Duchamp de Lacroix, 1° consul du Puy en 1767, fut député de cette ville aux Etats généraux du Languedoc tenus à Montpellier le 17 octobre 1772. On trouve encore sous ce nom: des chanoines de N.-D. du Puy; un lieutenant de cavalerie inhumé au Monastier, le 14 mai 1735; des avocats en parlement dont: Jean, seigneur de Lacroix, marié le 13 mai 1705 à Jeanne-Marguerite Paul. Leur fils Pierre, seigneur de Freycenet et de Pigeyres, épousa Louise Le Maistre de Volhac, d'où Jeanne-Marguerite Duchamp de Lacroix, alliée par contrat du 12 avril 1779 à Pierre de Chardon des Roys. ...
