Estuvo casado con doña Águeda de Rivera y Castaño, y en ella tuvo a Juan D., que a su vez procreó a Juan Mateo D., también Capitán de Caballos y natural de Mesina, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Águeda de Rivera, y fueron padres de Jaime D., natural de Mesina, Alférez de la Armada Real en 1625 y establecido después en Madrid, donde fué reconocido como hijodalgo en 1638 y 1647. Casó dos veces: la primera, con doña Magdalena de Castro y Vargas, y la segunda, con doña Blanca de Herrera y Acuña, ambas naturales de Madrid, y falleció en la Corte el 15 de Junio de 1660. Del primer matrimonio fué hijo Juan Bautista D. y Castro, Beneficiado Prior de Nuestra Señora de Morón y caballero de la Orden de Malta, con fecha de 4 de Junio de 1660. Del segundo enlace nacieron Pablo D. y Herrera, que sigue; y Francisco D. y Herrera, natural de Madrid y caballero de la Orden de Montesa en la que ingresó el 10 de Septiembre de 1687. El mayor, Pablo D. y Herrera, fué bautizado en la parroquia de San Ginés, de Madrid, e ingresó en la Orden de Montesa en la misma fecha que su hermano. Casó tres veces: la primera, con Úrsula Hurtado de Mendoza; la segunda, con Juana Berlanga, y la tercera, con Isabel Antonia Jofre. ...
