Filiation suivie: Claude vivant vers 1494, père de deux fils: 1° de Jean notaire au Puy (1537-1555), auteur de Claude Dorlhac seigneur de Durianne, procureur, lieutenant de la vicomté de Polignac, chef d'une branche disparue vers 1650 et de Jean Dorlhac marchand du Puy, tige d'une autre branche éteinte au début du XVIIIème siècle; 2° Étienne procureur d'office à Loudes (1537), qui continua la descendance dans cette ville et au Puy. On trouve encore sous ce nom: des Chanoines de N.-D. du Puy et de St-Georges de St-Paulien, dont un vicaire perpétuel de l'église collégiale, curé de St-Pierre-le-Monastier, mort à Borne le 11 juillet 1793; de nombreux notaires royaux et procureurs; des avocats en parlement; un lieutenant au sénéchal du Puy (1788); un président du tribunal civil de cette ville, président du conseil général du Puy-de-Dôme (1791-1864); divers officiers, l'un d'eux tué devant Sébastopol (1855); des chavaliers de la Légion d'honneur, etc. Branche établie à St-Germain-Lembron avec Jean-Louis Dorlhac, notaire (fils d'autre Jean-Louis et d'Anne Fornier), marié le 1er juin 1786 à Jeanne Sinnet du Genuyt, exixtante.
