Catherine, mariée le 14 janvier 1570 à Jean de Mesgriny, écuyer, seigneur de la Villeneuve, de la Loge, de Briel-près-Troyes, conseiller maître de la chambre des aides et des comptes de Paris, était fille de Adrien du Drac, vicomte d'Ay, conseiller au parlement de Paris, qui se prétendait issu d'un rameau de l'ancienne maison du Drac en Auvergne.
