De Navarra. Su primitivo solar radicó en el lugar de Elso (cuyo nombre tomó) y se llamó Larrazpe. Otra casa, llamada de Conderena, hubo en el lugar de Arraiz, que como el de E., pertenece al Ayuntamiento de Ulzama y partido judicial de Pamplona, y otra en el lugar de Artacoz, del Ayuntamiento de Olza y del mismo partido judicial. Martín José de E. y Arraiz, vecino de Los Arcos o Losarcos, del partido de Pamplona, fué padre de Ana, Antonia, Gregoria, Jerónima, Antonio, Felipa, Benicia, Luis, Severo, León y Aniceto de E., y en unión de éstos litigó, en el año de 1793, declaración de nobleza, como descendientes de la casa de Larrazpe del lugar de Elso. El mismo procedimiento incoaron Manuela de E. y Juana de Gascué, como viuda de Domingo de E., por sí y en representación de sus hijos Juan e Ignacia de E; los hermanos Martín y Miguel de E., y Domingo Araiz y E., vecino de Berasain, por sí y en nombre de sus hijos Esteban, José, Vicente, Francisco, Felipe, Manuela, Vicenta y Josefa. Obtuvieron sentencia favorable. Domingo de E., esposo de doña María Manuela de Alcoz, y ambos padres de José Jerónimo, María Josefa, Joaquina, Alberta, María Josefa y Teresa Manuela de E. y Alcoz, vecinos de Pamplona, solicitaron también, en 1768, declaración de nobleza, como descendientes del palacio de Artazcoz, del linaje de E., lo que se mandó así. ...
