Francesco Saverio fu proconservatore in detta città nel 1734 e Guglielmo tenne la stessa carica nel 1749. Quest'ultimo acquistò il titolo di Marchese di Camporeale nel 1786. I membri della famiglia di Amantea nel secolo XIX furono illustrati da Bartolomeo, uno dei nobili della città che nel 1814 sottoscrissero l'indirizzo di fedeltà al Re Gioacchino Murat.
