Nobility crown FiorioIl Principe Elettore, Carlo Teodoro di Baviera, con diploma dato a Monaco il 3 agosto 1790, creava barone del Sacro Romano Impero, col predicato di S. Cassiano, Antonio Fiorio, da Riva coi suoi discendenti legittimi di ambo i sessi e gli concedeva l'uso dello stemma. Col D. P. 4 dicembre 1923 ottennero il riconoscimento del suddetto titolo : dottor cavaliere Luigi, n. Riva (Trento) 8 giugno 1880, di Luigi Giuseppe, di Luigi e di Anna Strasser (1° letto), sposato Verona 14 settembre 1912 con Maria Camuzzoni. Altro ramo che ottenne il riconoscimento dello stesso titolo e predicato con D. P. 29 giugno 1926: avvocato dottor Luigi Alvise, n. Riva, 9 novembre 1877, di Antonio, di Giuseppe, di Antonio e di Giovanna degli Abbondi, sposato Riva 10 ottobre 1905 con Bianca Luciolli, da cui: a) Antonio, nato Merano 29 settembre 1906; b) Giuseppe, nato Merano 19 dicembre 1907. (Merano, corso Armando Diaz, 22). Altro ramo. Con diploma del 3 agosto 1790 l'Elettore dell'Impero, Carlo Teodoro, concedeva ai Fiorio il titolo trasmissibile di barone del Sacro Romano Impero, col predicato di San Cassiano. Tale titolo venne riconosciuto ai sotto descritti con Decreto Ministeriale 16 gennaio 1896. Alcuni membri della famiglia presero parte alla guerra 1915-1918, riportando la croce di guerra; Giovanni ottenne la medaglia di bronzo ed Alessandro ebbe la promozione per merito di guerra. Altro ramo. Famiglia antica e molto ricca nel secolo XV, aggregata al nobile Consiglio nel 1414 col cognome Fiorio. Prima però era detta Spundilana e con questa cognome vi fu ascritta nel 14096. Iacopo nel secolo XV e Cesare in principio del XVI furono cavalieri. Un'altra famiglia, dello stesso cognome, si tramutò anticamente da Villafranca in Verona. Dalla patrizia casa di Milano discesero i Veronesi, possidenti in Rigozzo. Altri Fiorio, originari di Soave, vennero in Verona verso il 1500; altri discesero da Domenico creato cittadino nel 1511; ed altri d'inferiore condizione furono della stirpe di Francesco chirurgo verso il 1540. Altro ramo. Famiglia del Trentino trasferitasi in Veneto, ebbe il titolo di Barone del S.R.I. per concessione imperiale del 13 agosto 1790. ...
